Have you ever loved someone so much You would give it everything you got? God damn boy that must feel nice I never felt that way before in my life I've been ducking heat Don't stress me please You want some insight On what I provide I just can't commit Probably never will Don't you hit my line Tryna kill my vibe All alone I would rather Be without ya By myself Cause I can handle You were right I was selfish I be looking out for me Don't you forget it Won't you Do yourself right And roll the dice Come cross the line All of All of my life You've tried to hide But you will not survive this time Time, time, time This time, time, time, time Now I don't wanna break your heart But I'm moving on to other things Don't give me the run around When I don't feel it that way I've been ducking heat Don't stress me please You want some insight On what I provide I just can't commit Probably never will Don't you hit my line Tryna kill my vibe All alone I would rather Be without ya By myself Cause I can handle You were right I was selfish I be looking out for me Don't you forget it Won't you Do yourself right And roll the dice Come cross the line All of All of my life You've tried to hide But you will not survive this time Time, time, time This time, time, time, time So you're just gonna go ghost on me then? Not a f****** word right? Like why you even gotta be like that for? Like that's what we're doing now? That's what the f*** it is Okay, cool I been sick and tired of missing out on life Missing out on love Chasing paper all the time I been looking for a little peace of mind Ever since you broke my heart Wish we never ever tried I been throwing shade every single day Used to be the same then you ghosted me I don't even care feelings always fade The least that you could do was communicated All alone I would rather Be without ya By my side Cause I can handle You were right You were selfish I be looking out for me don't you forget it Won't you just do me right Let's roll the dice And cross the line All of All of my life I tired to hide You're wrong cause I'll survive this time Time, time, time This time, time, time, time

[Chorus: America Serda] Baby Let your heart breathe Let the soul speak Sing me a melody Tell me what it feel like To realize That I'm the one for you And you're the one for me baby Let me know This don't gotta be complicated Tell me more If you had my love Would that be enough? Baby [Verse 1: July Quin] Baby what you know about? I could take you uptown to the boogie For you I put in all the hours Cause you don't love me for the money [Bridge: July Quin & America Serda] You're once in a lifetime baby All that I been waiting on You just found the right one baby They just want you for the moment [2nd Bridge: July Quin] Now I don't mean to assume persuasion But this whole damn thing is antiquated I was hoping That I could come over [Verse 2: July Quin] Sugar honey ice tea She just might be my wifey Grace me like a light breeze Ooh I think she like me I know what your price is Priceless You can get them diamonds Get right, yeah Baby I could finance with your fine ass It's all good Come over, baby [Chorus: America Serda] Baby Let your heart breathe Let the soul speak Sing me a melody Tell me what it feel like To realize That I'm the one for you And you're the one for me baby Let me know This don't gotta be complicated Tell me more If you had my love Would that be enough? Baby [Bridge: July Quin & America Serda] You're once in a lifetime baby All that I been waiting on You just found the right one baby They just want you for the moment [2nd Bridge: July Quin] Now I don't mean to assume persuasion But this whole damn thing is antiquated I was hoping That I could come over [Verse 3: July Quin] Mercy me KC, JoJo That's my baby, bae I dread it when you not around Like white girls that appropriate That eighty eight a navy base Could flood a hundred pools So much flair That when she pop it Shawty down with the woo! I either cuff or I pay bail for shooting Doot doot! That Cal Ripken Word to my word I'm just trying to excel Out the bad batches Playing Ash catch 'em With asthmatics Girl you ain't know I got them Jack Daniels back spasms Tricks up my sleeve They trying to dab at it And if you roll I got that Black Sabbath Girl you must know you got that (deadass) I'm trying bang and tag it Make out off the dash And bare witness like a Jehovah practice [Bridge: July Quin & America Serda] You're once in a lifetime baby All that I been waiting on You just found the right one baby They just want you for the moment

No one ran when the wolf came All the years that the boy cried Tried to tell em I saw things And they ain't even have foresight Dysphasia, ADHD Turned radiant, 88 key Word Brainiac Now the wolf cloaked In a thick coat made in all sheep Called maniac on me Like patriots claiming this nation great again But can't wait for the day we killed Or locked up, off the streets Projects in projects But I aced most test they graded me Because God gives strength most graciously And I put faith in the way we gon give em hell On days just me and me Beat Fruity Loops to a pulp Served up juice for the free It's my main squeeze Trigger finger, trigger blast Drum kit sycophant Red reaper, sickle cell Hit the gas, zig and zag Off the edge, little jagged That's my braggadocious antidote For a wounded child and his skewed exuberance Blacked out the blueprints that suit him And shaped his golden smile Now if the shovel digs deep at what remains Here's an anecdote Did the agriculture find any grave for my plants to grow? These notes rooted in a modest tone From a ghost in a computer, shell A hallow home Born of confusion I've been known To not answer well When I dwell On the pseudo human scale Ill'ed in a world that tells me I can't do right by what compels me Let em tell my tale and I'm a failure in every sense Led insurrection When my heart was tested But jumped the fence Shouldn't have contested Or drawn a weapon In my defense When my complexion Is that of restless No mercy if You not privileged enough for their common sense Breads conflict and consequence Cause the pride of men Is a common death If we honest here And not modest here It's Elementary An its skin deep But guides protect me For many a century So when my tank is empty My karma's plenty With odds against me I can smell the lambs blood On the wolf's tongue And when wools pulled over they eyes The hounds come Should I tell them Do they seldom know What hell sprung Would rebellion bring heirlooms Or would deaf ears be the great fate that it fell on Till then my melodies like felonies As a cage bird sings heavenly And I drop down from the ecstacy I smell a... I smell a wolf coming

[Verse 1: July Quin] My heartbreaks no one taught me I had learn myself I'm tossed in all directions Don't like the things I've found It's lawless It's beastly It treat me so unkind And it wants all that's mine It make one heartless Flirt with the reapers It come for what it's owed For half of what you sold it for [Verse 2: Albany Andaluz] The image I have of you, so enticing And I love the way you keep me at a distance It sends me teleporting Back into my body, checkin in, check the inventory Where does it hurt? And how to mend the pain I've caused myself? Caught up in reveries An open heart after rolling stone Even though I'm running from outstretched arms, too Do we ever get tired of chasing each other Chasing this feeling Then running away? I said Do we ever get tired of hurting each other Chasing this feeling Then running away? [Verse 3: July Quin] Always good for a real bad thing Troublesome, bubble gum sweet Till I take the keys off dash and I crash it Only time I'm good with the skirts I could do donuts in a hearse Body after body like a Merc Do dirt, you serve, I swerve, that pass My words, don't verb, too burr Desert them, dine and dash Villainized mind Couldn't set aside time To develop or identify the reason for the cloak But methodized crime And incentivized guides Couldn't jeopardize the blind and the feeling of their hope We Jupiter, Jupiter Stupid us, true colors Stained by dirt, out the mud Who's the judge, who's the plug? Enlightened one Buddha monk Thunderbolt Might morph So much blues got the bloods Bubblin' up, doublin' up On the run by default Glide the web Peter Park Shoot the heart Bite the slug Or the tongue Like the cat Curious, curious What it's like, what it's like To fall in love with the right And not just cause it's the night Neurosis Nauseous Cautious Karma Calling Surely Exhausted Daunting Logic Rotten Apple City gon do you dirt But you finna do you worse If you don't come up off the past And focus on more than the bag Get you secure Love you and stay reinforced By people that keep your heart pure [Outro/Breakdown: July Quin & Albany Andaluz] God It's lawless it's beastly Always good for a real bad thing It come for what it's owed Always good for a real bad thing (The image I have of you, so enticing) Always good for a real bad thing (And I love the way you keep me at a distance It sends me teleporting) (Back into my body, checkin in, check the inventory) (Where does it hurt?) (And how to mend the pain I've caused myself?) Always good for a real bad thing

about

The Summer of 2019 officially kicked off the cleaning of the vault. With records stashed away in his laptop which re-defined his sound & identity July Quin looked to re-introduce himself as a musical force. This compilation of songs entitled “The Singles” features Quin in his rawest artistic form. The method of sampling records he grew up with is re-purposed into purely technique & applied on vocals for tracks such as “Sade Adu” & “L I B E R T Y”. His love for crafting sing-along hooks is ever present in cuts like “Luh You” & “Tatyana M. Ali”. As well as the evident nods to Timbaland’s futuristic production or the lo-fi Nujabes influence can be heard on “617” & “Sunbathing” respectively. No stranger to the art of collaboration; understanding the importance of what it could mean to the growth of a song if you let someone else in your world; July crafts sonic landscapes with the help of friends Will Shish, Blane Mitchell & Numemo to name a few. Oh & be aware this is still now & forever Hip-Hop (see “SLANG!” & “Plus, ULTRA”). This 17 track collection is not simply a group of singles packaged as one project - but a time capsule. The evolution of an artist & his sound from 2017 to the late stages of 2021 (added bonus tracks). With a new album on the way later this year July Quin hopes to hold you down in a master class. Teaching you what it means to be a jack of all trades.
